This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies musaicevents.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy and follows the Italian Garante's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021, the GDPR and, for visitors in the United Kingdom, the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
The data controller is Giovanni Cuccuini, Salerno, Italy, who operates this website pending the incorporation of the company that will carry on the business. You may write to hello@musaicevents.com about anything in this policy.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in much the same way. Some are necessary for a site to work; others, such as analytics or advertising cookies, may be used only with your consent.
We store your cookie choices in your browser's local storage, so that we do not ask you again on every page. This requires no consent. Our hosting provider, Netlify, delivers the pages and processes your IP address for that purpose and for security, without setting cookies.
If you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Tag Manager, which in turn loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics tells us, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site, which pages they read and from which countries they come. We have set data retention to fourteen months and have disabled Google Signals and all advertising features. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. If you refuse, neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics is loaded.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies at present. We may in future use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising campaigns on Instagram and Facebook. We would do so only with your consent: before introducing it we will update this policy and ask for your choice again.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| musaic_consent (local storage) | MUSAIC EVENTS | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months | Necessary |
| _ga | Distinguishes visitors for statistical purposes | 2 years | Analytics, with consent | |
| _ga_<ID> | Keeps the state of a visit | 2 years | Analytics, with consent | |
| _fbp | Meta | Measures advertising campaigns | 3 months | Marketing: not in use at present |
On your first visit a banner offers three choices of equal weight: accept all, refuse all, or choose by category. Closing the banner with the × keeps only the necessary storage, exactly as refusing does. You may change your mind at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page. We will not ask you again for six months, unless the tools we use change.
You may also delete or block cookies through your browser settings, and you may prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data with Google's opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Google and Meta are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, on which transfers of data to the United States are based. More information is in our Privacy Policy.
We will update this policy whenever we add or remove a tool. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
